Sarah Scala, Manager of the Kohler Experiential Learning Center, has a master's degree in organizational development and adult education from Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  She also has bachelor's degrees in business management and adventure recreation from Green Mountain College in Vermont.

Sarah brings 12 years of experience as a facilitator and trainer and specializes in using the challenge course as a development tool for corporate clients. Her expertise is in designing and delivering experiential learning programs for teams and organizations that provide enjoyable opportunities and add value.  Sarah is certified to lead assessment workshops including Myers Briggs Type Indicator, FIRO-B, and Building Relationship Versatility: Social Styles at Work.  She is also a Wilderness First Responder and has passed Advanced Skills and Standards training on managing a challenge course through Project Adventure.

Before her current role, Sarah worked as a training and development consultant in the financial industry and as an adventure education instructor for Aurora University. Sarah also volunteers as a kayak instructor and as an instructor of life-saving skills for the American Red Cross.

Sarah is an active member of the International Association of Facilitators, The OD Network, Association of Experiential Education, the American Society of Training and Development, the Association of Challenge Course Technology and the American Canoe Association. Her interests include cycling, hiking, kayaking, camping, skiing and travel.
